We entered this blogging world because we admired so many teachers and the ideas they shared! I am constantly inspired by the hard work and dedication that is put forth by so many educators. In addition, I know I'm a better teacher due to all of the collaboration that occurs in our blogging, Instagram, and Facebook community.
With that being said, it was extremely difficult to choose just one blogger that I admire! However, this person has been someone that I am amazed by! She works so incredibly hard ALL the time! I love reading the comments on her Instagram because she has been asked so many times, "When do you sleep?" haha! I wonder the same thing, too. This teacher is incredibly talented and designs tools for children that are fun and engaging! I proudly use her products in my room and am so excited to share this one with you.
So, without further ado, let me introduce you to...
Ashley Schroeder from Schroeder Shenanigans in 2nd! If you haven't figured it out yet... she is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!

Being so excited about having this product, I immediately included the centers into my plans and couldn't wait to print them the next day. Go figure, my brand new printer ran out of ink that day and I had to wait longer! AH! Anyway, I was able to get them shortly after and laminated. I knew the kids would love them.
Let's first take a look at the math centers...
The mater centers included in this awesome pack are Chick-Ching!, Time for Spring, Graphing in the Garden, and Making Chirp Change. My students haven't gotten to the graphing center yet, but they will!
During my math block, we complete a form of Daily 5 math. The students work through stations: Math with the Teacher, Math with Someone, Math by Myself, Math with Technology, and Write about Math. These centers could be used in a variety of ways (another great thing about them), but I chose to use them as my Math with Someone center. I had them completing one per day. The students were highly engaged by these vibrant colors and exciting matching games. Check it out!
All laminated and in baggies, ready to go!
This is an example of my students' checklists!
Completed work! They loved it! (Excuse the messed up black ink. Of course I was running out when I needed these!)
Time for Spring!
Below are the action photos!
Next, the reading centers. During our reading centers the students are always practicing skills we have learned already. This practice and application allows me to assess where they are with a particular skill. These wonderful matching games were loved my all my students. One of the things I loved about this product is Ashley made really colorful copies, or more black and white options for those of us trying to save ink. Always a wonderful addition!
The ELA centers include contractions, homophones, word building, and ABC order. At this time, we have only completed the contractions and homophones. Both which proved to be excellent review for my first graders!
Sorting out contractions!
Below is a photo of how I organize the centers for my students. They are clipped together in bins for the students to access during center time.
Please be sure to check out her blog, Instagram, and TPT! You will be amazed!
Girl - thank you so much for such a detailed post about my spring centers!! Your kind words and compliments make me smile so much and I'm glad the kids had fun! Oh, and I LOVE your math group check sheet - I need to do something like that for next year!! :)
