Happy Friday! We can't believe that this is our last Fall Freebie! We want to thank everyone for following us, supporting us, and joining this blog hop! We have met so many new friends from this experience and may even have another blog hop up our sleeve! ;)
Anyway, on to the freebie! In my first grade classroom, we have been working a great deal on parts of speech. This can be somewhat confusing for young students. However, with practice and engaging activities, they soon catch on. How do you teach parts of speech? Each morning, we have morning meeting and we always look for these withing our morning message. To follow up on this further, I have developed centers that reinforce each target. Check out these dice games:
To get into the holiday spirit, I created this parts of speech sort. Check it out here! Please give feedback and I hope your students enjoy it!
Head over to For His Glory Teaching for the next freebie!
I love your parts of speech sort!! I wish I taught in a school where we could do more Halloween activities, but we can't. All of our activities have to be Fall themed. No Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI love this sort - thank you so much for sharing! I have 3rd graders that will benefit from this resource :)
