Wordless Wednesday - Caterpillars!

We had such an exciting day today!!! I kept it as a secret that we would be having caterpillars arrive. The students were so thrilled! They couldn't stop their silent cheering! We talked about how they are baby larvae and we need to be calm, quiet, and responsible. They named their caterpillar and are so excited to watch them grow. I am all fired up by my students excitement. One of those teacher moments where you feel the magic!

  1. Fun! When I taught second, we always started the year with monarch caterpillars. It was always so amazing to watch them make chrysalises and then emerge.
